1.2. Alarm & App Usage Data (Non-Personal)

The app stores only the following non-personal data:

• Completion/failed accountability attempts
• Internal app usage events required for the app's functionality

This data is stored securely on our servers for the purpose of operating the app.

1.3. Microphone Access

ClockBlocked uses the microphone only during specific wake-up challenges (such as voice tasks or spoken confirmations). Audio is not recorded, saved, or shared. The microphone is used solely in real time to validate task completion.

1.4. Push Notifications

The app uses notifications to deliver alarms and reminders. Notification tokens are used only to send alerts and are not tied to personal identity.

We use the limited data we collect to:

• Save and sync your alarms
• Validate wake-up tasks

• Improve app performance and reliability
• Prevent abuse and maintain service integrity

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties.

ClockBlocked uses Firebase for:

• Cloud data storage
• Device notification delivery
• Basic infrastructure and app functionality

Firebase may collect anonymous technical data such as device type, OS version, and crash logs. This information does not identify you personally.

4. Payments & Accountability Donations

ClockBlocked does not offer in-app purchases.

When you fail an accountability task, funds may be sent to social causes or organizations based on your app settings. These transactions occur through your chosen payment method outside the app. We do not collect or store your billing information.

5. Tracking

ClockBlocked does not:

• Track you across other apps or websites
• Use advertising identifiers
• Conduct targeted advertising

No data is shared with marketing or ad networks.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect stored alarm data. However, no system is 100% secure. By using the app, you acknowledge these inherent risks.

7. Children's Privacy

ClockBlocked is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

• You may disable microphone access at any time (but certain tasks will be unavailable).
• You may disable notifications in your device settings.
